With promotion almost certainly in the bag, Twickenham coach Clive See now wants the London Division Three North West title.

League leaders Twickenham travel to second-placed Old Priorians today looking to open a possible seven-point lead, and gain revenge for their only league defeat this season.

With the top two guaranteed promotion, and third-placed Welwyn a massive 23 points behind, both Twickenham and Old Priorians sides are odds on favourites to go up.

But See, who is good friends with Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Mark Harper,  wants to finish the season as champions and last weekend’s 22-9 win over London New Zealand, along with victory this weekend, would be a giant step in that direction.

“We’re both likely to be promoted so it’s a two-horse race for the title. That is all that matters now, we really want to go up as champions,” See said.

“This weekend is going to be very tough, Old Priorians are a very good side – they’re the only team to have beaten us so we’re out for revenge too.”

He added: “I have a full squad to choose from, as long as no one gets hurt in training. It’s quite unusual to have a fully-fit squad, particularly at this stage of the season, so I’ll wrap them up in cotton wool ahead of the game.”

Andrew Keane marked his 100th appearance for the club with a try on Saturday, with further scores coming from Richard Moses and Michael Buck, while fly half Dom Brown kicked seven points.
