AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley praised his charges after a second consecutive home win in League Two.
A Harry Pell spot-kick and Michael Smith's header in the first half were enough to complete a 2-0 win over Fleetwood on Saturday.
Speaking to Dons Player, Ardley said: "It was the most complete performance since I took over. I was a bit worried last week even after the euphoria of winning because we did not quite look like a team in spells."
He added: "In the second-half it was all about us seeing the game out. A third goal would have put us at ease and we had enough chances to do that, but we did not look in danger at the end.”
Dons have the distraction of a trip to Brentford tomorrow [Tuesday] in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, followed by league trips to York (September 7) and Chesterfield (September 14).
