Ks will be all right on the Knight
New Ks winger Charlie Knight will be the best in the Ryman Premier League once he finds his feet at Kingsmeadow, according to boss Alan Dowson.
Knight, who signed from Bashley last week, scored his first goal for the club in Tuesday’s 2-0 win at Met Police, having crossed for defender Matt Drage’s opening goal in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Hendon.
Striker Ryan Moss hit what proved to be the winner at the weekend, while Andre McCollin was again on the scoresheet on Tuesday.
“Charlie did very well. He likes to run at people andwhen he is fit he will be the best in the league,” said Dowson.
“The midfield four have made 40 appearances between them and we have not had a goal off them. If we are going to do anything this season we cannot have that.”
Striker Ali Chaaban appears to have left the club having not been seen since his FA Cup sending off at Margate.
Ks host Leiston tomorrow.
