Brentford's Hayes and Dallas set to head out on loan
Brentford striker Paul Hayes’ days at Griffin Park are numbered with the former Charlton Athletic man set to join Plymouth Argyle on loan.
The 30-year-old, who signed from the Addicks last summer, has been out of favour at the Bees this season and dropped further down the pecking order following the return of Fulham loanee Marcello Trotta last month.
Boss Uwe Rosler said: “He is a senior pro who needs to be playing football.
“It looks like he will be going out on a month long loan Talks are ongoing.
“But whether it be at Plymouth or other clubs, he will be going to play games and to make an impression.”
Midfielder Stuart Dallas, who has been offered a new contract with the Bees, is also set to head out on loan with Rosler keen to stress the move did not signal the end of his stay in west London.
“All the players in his position are fit, and 10 or 15 minutes here and there is no good for him,” added the manager.
“He agreed and will hopefully get 90 minutes every week in League Two or League One.
“We would not have offered him a new contract if we did not believe in him.”
