Carshalton Athletic’s plight at the wrong end of the table worsened on Saturday after a 4-0 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Thamesmead Town.

The Robins are now 12 points from safety, with only nine games left to play.

At the other end, Ryan Moss hit his 23rd league goal of the season in a 1-1 draw at Lewes that keeps Kingstonian in the play-off places.

In mid-table, Hampton & RB went down 1-0 at home to Billericay Town, while Met Police lost 2-1 at home to Grays Athletic – Bradley Hudson-Odoi getting the only goal.

Mohamed Eisa came off the bench to bag the decisive goal for Leatherhead in a 1-0 win at Sittingbourne.

The Tanners, who have endured a stop-start March with four defeats and three wins, remain second in the table – albeit 10 points behind leaders Peacehaven & Telscombe.

Walton Casuals’ bizarre few weeks continued with a 5-0 win at Crawley Down Gatwick, thanks to goals from Liam Collins (two), Djibril Fofana, Gabriel Odunaike and Scott Day.

The win follows a 5-1 defeat at home to struggling Walton & Hersham, and a 4-2 win over runaway leaders Peacehaven.

As for the Swans, they went down 1-0 at home to Tooting & Mitcham United with TJ Nkoma grabbing the winner in the 77th minute.

A 0-0 draw for Corinthian Casuals at home to Whitstable Town keeps alive the Casuals’ survival hopes.
