Warren Fenn reckons he will be "an unstoppable force" when he gets back in the ring later this month.

The Mitcham middleweight has his first fight of the year at the Camden Centre on July 19 having spent the last few months learning his trade in the gym.

Fenn has powered to six pro wins in seven fights - four inside the distance - and says tough sparring has developed his skills.

The 26 year-old said: "Because of my strength I usually bully my sparring partners.

"But I've started sparring bigger fighters who can bully me. I've had to think a bit more and develop my ring craft.

"I've been winning fights with my strength and now my skills are improving, I'm going to be an unstoppable force."

He added: "I haven't been boxing this year, but I've been learning my trade in the gym.

"I didn't start boxing when I was young or have a lot of amateur fights.

"I come from an athletics background, so I have to be patient, learn my trade and then doors will start opening."

Fenn admits he's had a frustrating year with injuries keeping him out of action since he mauled Ben Robinson in three rounds last November.

He said: "It's hard to fit boxing around everything else - and even harder when you get injured.

"But if you want to achieve anything in boxing, you have to stick at it, graft it out, then you get your rewards.

"I know what I can achieve. I know I can go all the way. I've just got to keep winning and prove I deserve to be up there.

"I can't wait to get back in the ring. I've got to have this fight to see where I am, then hopefully I can step up next season."
