Crystal Palace striker Kwesi Appiah has returned to Cambridge United on loan until January.
The 23-year-old hitman spent the first half of last season at United in the Skrill Premier scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances.
The joined Notts County for two months in January, and AFC Wimbledon in March - where his three goals in seven appearances helped the beat relegation - before returning to Palace for the summer.
Appiah told Cambridge United's website: "Having been here before means I have a good connection with everyone.
"It was great to see the team win at Wembley in the FA Trophy and then be here at the Abbey for the play-off semi-final.
"Hopefully the fans will see some more goals from me this season and hope as a team we can give them something to cheer about."
