The Cobham 13-year-old set a new wind assisted personal best of 11.12 seconds as she claimed the England Athletics Championships U15 girls 75m hurdles title in Bedford.

The Notre Dame School student is the Surrey county and schools champion in the event and also claimed a South of England Championship silver medal over the distance at Crystal Palace earlier this month.

Earley was competing in the year above her own age group and was one of the youngest in the field.

Clubmate Mollie O’Sullivan, 14, was also in flying form as she claimed a bronze medal in the U15 girls 1,500m final in a personal best time of 4:36.74.

O’Sullivan, coached by Vanessa Hammett, is also a Surrey schools U15 girls 1,500m and cross country champion and was fourth (4:38.85) in the English schools 1,500m final in Birmingham in July.

Eden Rainbow-Cooper, of the Kingston-based Weir Archer Academy, claimed a women’s wheelchair sprint triple as she collected bronze medals in the 100m, 200m and 400m races.
