Battersea Ironsides defended their London & SE Junior Vase title on Saturday, and now it is all about revenge for skipper Colin O'Keeffe.

A 23-11 win over Surrey One rivals Camberley has set up a national semi-final rematch with Longlevens, the team which beat them at the same stage last season.

Not only would a win over Longlevens tick the revenge box, it would also send the Ironsides to the national final at Twickenham.

Tries from Liam Hales and Marcus Bailey, plus 13 points off the deadly accurate kicking of Ben Mott saw Ironsides home.

Ironsides will play Camberley twice more before the season is over, once in the league and then in the Surrey Shield final, should they overcome Guildfordians in the semi-final.

O'Keeffe said: "It was very satisfying to beat Camberley again, knowing we will have two more fixtures against them before the season is out.

"We’re very much looking forward to hosting Longlevens again at this stage of the competition and of course we are looking forward to taking the club one step further this year."
