Hercules Wimbledon’s Ann Martin set a hat-trick of club records last weekend as the club completed their Southern Athletics League commitments last weekend.
The veteran 55 athlete threw the discus 12.53m, the shot 5.20m and the javelin 7.14m to claim her records as Hercules finished the day’s meeting in Kingston in fourth place.
Overall, they finished 11th in Division Three South West, half a point behind Team Kennett in 10th.
In the same meeting, clubmare Gina Galbraith broke the club veterans’ over 35 record in the 1,500m.
In the A-string events, Sean Hall won the 800m in one minute 57.30 seconds, Austin Ferns claimed the 100m hurdles in 15.7secs, and Nnamdi Odum, who leapt 13.80m in the long jump.
There were B-string wins for Chad Miller (200m, 23secs), Nimi Kolade (400m, 50.9secs), Rob Tuer (2,000m steeplechase, 6:46.40), Claire Grima (3,000m steeeplechase, 10:39.90) and Heather Letley (400m hurdles, 76.90secs).
