AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown is on the verge of signing Rushden & Diamonds defender Jason Goodliffe as the new manager continues to mould his new squad.
Brown is set to make Goodliffe his second signing since taking over the Dons helm after drafting in Marcus Gayle to the club on Friday.
The former Aldershot boss said: "We are speaking to Jason and I would love to see him at the club. We are in ongoing talks with the player."
The Dons boss has also confirmed the departure of Lee O'Leary, one of Dave Anderson's last signings, and ruled out a move for ex-Chelsea defender Darren Barnard, who has been released by his former club Aldershot.
"Darren is a very good player, but unfortunately he will not be joining AFC Wimbledon."
