Harlequins RL chief Brian McDermott doesn't blame fans for reacting angrily to news the club's Challenge Cup quarter-final clash at Wigan Warriors is scheduled for a Friday night.
McDermott confessed he was less than happy about the move, which means the club's loyal band of followers will be forced north for the 8pm kick-off.
"I am not a big fan of Friday nights and it really puts the mockers on any chance our fans had of getting there," he said.
"They may only travel in their tens - rather than thousands - but they were louder than the home fans against Warrington, which is pleasing for us and makes you feel a little bit proud."
The tie is on June 8.
