Crystal Palace are weighing up a move for FC Twente defender Joachim Andersen, reports say.

At the age of 19, Andersen is thought of as one of the brightest talents at the Dutch club.

The centre back has already made 24 league appearance for Twente, who are 13th in the Eredivisie but have been riddled with financial difficulties.

The club were docked three points by the Dutch FA last month after failing to meet financial targets.

According to Netherlands outlet RTV Oost, FC Twente prospect Andersen is a potential target for Palace.

The report says Andersen, who is contracted to Twente until 2018, has been a hit since his introduction to the first-team.

Having already represented Denmark U21s, Andersen is expected to be the subject of interest from several clubs this summer.
