Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan thinks Sean Dyche is not the right fit for the club.

Dyche has been touted as a future England manager after leading the Clarets to Premier League safety last season.

But Jordan, who left the Eagles in 2010, told talkSPORT: “I think certain managers do well at certain clubs. Eddie Howe has done very well at Bournemouth but when he went away to Burnley he didn't do so well.

“I think Alan Curbishley is another example at Charlton and when he went away.

“I am not sure Sean Dyche is the right fit for Palace, although, I suspect he may stay at Burnley.

“It is a difficult one, but Palace have got time and that is the beauty of the situation they are in. They have got time to consider.”
