Crystal Palace's Andros Townsend with Bournmeouth's Charlie Daniels
Crystal Palace will travel to take on Ligue 1 club FC Metz in a pre-season friendly on July 29.
The fixture will take place at Stade Saint-Symphorien, their home ground, and is scheduled for a 3pm kick-off.
It comes after meeting Liverpool and either Leicester City or West Bromwich Albion in a double header of fixtures in Hong Kong this month prior to hosting Schalke 04 on August 5.
This will be the first time Palace play in France for 16 years, coming against SC Bastia in Corsica, and the second time against Metz for 50 years when they were 3-1 victors in 1967.
