Crystal Palace target Mamadou Sakho’s Liverpool career is over after the defender was left out of the club’s 30-man squad for their pre-season trip to Germany.

Sakho, who has been based at the Reds’ training ground this summer to continue his recovery from a knee injury, fell out with Jurgen Klopp last year.

He didn't make a single appearance for Liverpool in the 2016/17 campaign and was shipped out on loan to the Eagles in January.

Sakho helped Palace secure their Premier League status by keeping four clean sheets in his eight games.

The South Londoners have expressed an interest to bring him back to Selhurst Park, however, Liverpool are demanding a £30m fee for the France defender.

Liverpool have arrived in Germany and will play Hertha Berlin on Saturday, before traveling to Bavaria to face Bayern Munich.

And Sakho, who is also attracting interest from Sevilla, has been left at home.
