Crystal Palace has teamed-up with a ticket re-sale service to enable its season ticket holders to re-sell their seats for games they cannot attend.

In collaboration with Twickets, season ticket holders can now give their season to fellow fans who are season ticket holders themselves or members.

Those offered for sale will be sold through the Twickets platform, where they can be purchase by fellow season ticket holders and members through a safe and secure system.

Steve Parish, Crystal Palace chairman, said: “Through this partnership we’re actively making a stand against fans being exploited in the secondary market and offering our season ticket holders flexibility with their tickets and members a chance to get to games when a season ticket holder can't attend.

“With Twickets, fans who cannot attend a game can make their tickets available to other Palace fans but only at face value.

“We want to make sure that club members at Selhurst Park aren’t paying over the odds through unofficial platforms.”

Richard Davies, chief executive of Twickets, said: “Becoming the first face value resale platform to represent a Premier League club is a significant and powerful step for Twickets.

“Building on our experience with Queens Park Rangers, we look forward to working with Crystal Palace to facilitate and oversee a convenient resale option between Palace supporters.”
