Chelsea stars Alvaro Morata and N’Golo Kante are set to miss the trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The key duo are struggling with hamstring injuries.
Morata was forced off in Chelsea’s defeat to Manchester City last month and Kante limped off on international duty with France.
Both men have featured regularly for the Blues this season. Morata has scored eight goals for his new club, while Kante has played every minute of every league game.
Palace have injury concerns of their own with Christian Benteke ruled out for five weeks.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is ineligible to play against his parent club and star man Wilfried Zaha has only just returned to training after a lengthy lay-off with a knee problem.
Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League and face a Palace side who have lost seven successive games.
