Wayne Hennessey is set to sign a new deal with Crystal Palace, according to reports.
The goalkeeper will extend his Eagles stay despite the signing of Getafe star Vicente Guaita, who has agreed a pre-contract.
The arranged arrival has led to reports linking Hennessey, whose current deal expires this summer, with a move away from Selhurst Park.
But the Mirror claims the Wales international will battle Guaita for the number one shirt next season.
Hennessey has established himself as the first-choice stopper under boss Roy Hodgson after Julian Speroni’s season-ending injury.
The former England manager has been impressed with Hennessey’s form, which has helped move the Eagles six points clear of the relegation zone with three games to go.
