For Crystal Palace to elevate themselves to a top half team next season they may need to upgrade on some positions, as well as replace any big names that get snapped up by teams from the 'Big Six'.
One player who will be high in demand is Marc Guehi. Palace paid Chelsea £20m for the then academy players' services, a risk at that price for a player with zero senior football appearances.
But since his arrival Guehi has blossomed in south London, shoring up Palaces’ defence and receiving numerous England call-ups along the way.
His departure would be a big loss and would no doubt come at a hefty price. The leading candidate for his signature at this moment in time is Tottenham Hotspur, who are in dire need of a new left-sided centre back, making move seem like a perfect fit.
If Guehi were to be prised away from Palace, they should look no further than Facundo Medina of Lens.
Lens finished second in Ligue 1 this season, a record breaking season for them, accomplishing Champions League football for the first time since the 2002/03 season.
Medina, a left-footed and left-sided centre back, was arguably their standout player.
Capable of playing in systems with either two or three centre backs, Medina is a destroyer but also a calming presence in possession, with a similar profile to that of Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez and Tottenham’s Cristian Romero.
Medina’s potential is so high that if Palace do manage to bring him to Selhurst Park, they would be able to make a major profit on the Argentinian were he to move on at some stage.

One area where Palace could upgrade their squad is in the right back spot.
After joining the Eagles in 2012 and appearing 303 times, 33-year-old Joel Ward has been a loyal servant to the club, playing his part in the club’s promotion in his second season.
However, whoever takes over as manager of the Eagles may decide that a new addition is required in this position, which may lead to Ward leaving the club.
One candidate for this role would be Kyle Walker-Peters of Southampton.
After his transfer away from Tottenham in hope of first team football in 2020, Walker-Peters has hit new strides on the south coast.
He is a player undeserving of relegation in the last campaign and someone who would add extra creativity and attacking opportunities in this Crystal Palace team.
He may also be available at a cut price given Southampton's relegation.
