Midfield lynchpin Elliott Godfrey has become the latest player to switch Hampton & Richmond for AFC Wimbledon after signing on at Kingsmeadow.
As revealed in the Surrey Comet, boss Terry Brown was hoping to persuade the former Watford star to move to Kingsmeadow, but was facing competition from a host of clubs.
But it seems the lure of Blue Square South football and big crowds was enough to tempt the Canada-born goal getter.
In 186 appearances for the Beavers Godfrey struck 54 goals from his attacking midfield position, and joins Alan Inns in making the switch to the Dons.
