Crystal Palace are still looking to sign as many as two strikers before the start of the season in 22 days time, according to manager Neil Warnock.
Trialist Simon Thomas and new signing Calvin Andrew played up front in last night's friendly victory over Aldershot, but with Clinton Morrison having left, Jamie Scowcroft injured and Dougie Freedman's future still uncertain, Palace are severely short of strikers.
Speaking after last night's victory, Warnock said: "You could see that we needed a target man, we've looked a lot better with a target man.
"It depends how Victor Moses comes back, I may possibly want two strikers."
Moses is currently away on international duty with England U19s at the European Championships in the Czech Republic, where he played the full ninety minutes in last night's goalless draw with Italy.
The result followed Monday night's defeat to the hosts and means the young lions must beat Greece on Sunday and hope the Czech's don't lose to Italy to progress to the semi-finals.
