Crystal Palace have enjoyed life under new boss Oliver Glasner, gaining four points in his first three games in charge.

Perhaps the only disappointment so far is the late goals the side have conceded. Palace have been in the lead at the 75th minute mark in all three games, but only ended up winning once.

With only ten games left, we've reached the stage of the season where fans will start beginning to predict where they will end up once all 38 matches have been played.

With that in mind, we have predicted the results of each of the Eagles' final matches, along with using Premier League data to simulate all of the remaining results in the league, and come up with a predicted final league position for Palace.

Will it be accurate? Almost certainly not, but it's still fun to do anyway.

Match week 29 – Newcastle (H)

Newcastle have had a strange season, with great moments such as beating Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and both Manchester clubs. However they have also had some downs, losing to three out of the bottom five in the Premier League.

This game was due to be played this weekend coming up, however with Newcastle's progression in the FA Cup, the game will be played at a later date.

With 11 points between the two sides, this could be a cagey affair. The fact this could be played towards the end of the season could have an impact, with the possibility that both sides have nothing to play for.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Newcastle

Match week 30 – Nottingham Forest (A)

The next game that Palace will play in the league will be when they travel to the City Ground to play against a side currently five points behind them.

Nottingham Forest will see this game as a must win, however this could play into the hands of Palace.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Crystal Palace

Match week 31 – Bournemouth (A)

In Match week 31, Palace travel to Bournemouth. The Eagles currently sit six points behind the Cherries, after Bournemouth’s miraculous comeback against Luton. At this stage, Bournemouth are likely to be safe, whereas Palace may be looking for one more win to guarantee their safety.

Prediction: Bournemouth 2-2 Crystal Palace

Match week 32 – Manchester City (H)

Crystal Palace’s next scheduled home match is against title chasing Manchester City. City usually end the season strongly so they will go into the game as heavy favourites.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-3 Manchester City

Match week 33 – Liverpool (A)

Following on from Manchester City, Palace then travel to Anfield. Liverpool will be looking to continue their push for the title. It could be a difficult afternoon for Crystal Palace.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Crystal Palace

Match week 34 – West Ham (H)

This could be the game that Crystal Palace ensure their safety for the season. They welcome West Ham, who could have their eyes on a European spot, or a European trophy.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 3-2 West Ham

Match week 35 – Fulham (A)

Fulham against Crystal Palace is a difficult game to predict. The two sides could be playing for nothing at this stage, with a result going either way not out of the question.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace

Match week 36 – Manchester United (H)

Although Manchester United are likely to be within a shout of European places, their unpredictability this season has hindered them. Their performance levels change week on week. Palace could pounce on a dejected United team.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-0 Manchester United

Match week 37 – Wolves (A)

Wolves have had a strong season. Many predicted them to finish in the bottom three, with Gary O’Neil only being appointed days before the start of the season. However, they have impressed and have been an outside shout for the European places.

For Crystal Palace, it could be a tough afternoon.

Prediction: Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Match week 38 – Aston Villa (H)

Final matches of the season are always difficult to predict, let alone two months before they happen. Usually we see high scoring affairs, and I think this could be no different.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-2 Aston Villa

Final position

These results would see Crystal Palace finish on 44 points. Using the simulation, this would be good enough for a 14th place finish.

For Glasner, this would be a successful end to the season, ensuring safety and looking to push on next season.
