As part of the RFU/PRL agreement, four members of the England Senior EPS squad, including Quins star David Strettle, are returning to their clubs this week in order for them to be available for this weekend's Guinness Premiership games.
The four players are Steffon Armitage (London Irish), Richard Blaze (Leicester Tigers), Ben Kay (Leicester Tigers) and Strettle.
Richard Blaze and Ben Kay are being given the opportunity to get more game time ahead of the 32-man squad re-convening on November 1 and there is adequate cover at wing and in the back row within the squad to enable Strettle and Steffon Armitage to return to Harlequins and London Irish respectively.
It is expected that further players will be released back to their clubs after training tomorrow afternoon.
