A strong AFC Wimbledon side cruised into the third round of the Surrey Senior Cup last night with a thumping 7-1 win at Combined Counties league side Ash United.
Choosing to field a mix of experience and youth, Terry Brown's side raced into a 3-1 interval lead thanks to goals from Peter Rapson, Quincy Rowe and Elliott Godfrey.
Further goals after the break followed from Ross Montague, Rapson, Sam Hatton and Matt Harmsworth to wrap up a comprehensive victory.
