Westcroft Judo Club claimed 28 gold medals at the South of England Junior Championships at the K2, Cawley, on Sunday.

The Carshalton-based club won eight golds, seven silvers and 13 bronzes and with more results still to come in, Westcroft are still waiting to hear whether there are actually more medallists.

Gold medals: Max Lee Sang, Tim Phillip Ebel, Lauren Hawkins, Guben Murtaq, Joey Fowley, Sam Petgrave, Katie McKenna, Katie Langford.

Silver medals: Lewis Brown, Jake Mulley, Jordan Mulley, Gemma Duckinson, Oliver Bultrago, Emma Jefferies, Elise Jefferies.

Bronze medals: Francesca Sexton, Jake Took, Chloe Bailey, Ellie Muir, Elliott Williams, Nick Fowler, Ally Joharchi, Alex Roe, Tony Mulligan, Ellie Johncey, Luke Mulley, Jamal Petgrave, Carys Williams.
