Eagles teenager called into Wales U21 squad

Crystal Palace teenager Jonathan Williams has been called up to the Wales U21 squad.

The midfielder, who turns 17 in October, has been called up to Brian Flynn's team for the first time having impressed in the U17s, where he has scored one goal in 12 caps.

He has yet to get into the Palace squad but is highly thought of in the academy and played in the Eagles' friendly against Sutton two weeks ago.

He will be part of the team that travels to Malta for a friendly on August 10.
