Nicky Forster is hoping he can keep the feel good feeling for Brentford at Boundary Park on Saturday.
The 36-year-old was an unused substitute when he visited Oldham Athletic with Brighton & Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic in League One last season.
Boss Andy Scott’s men also secured a 3-2 triumph in Lancashire last term and need three points to halt a run of five games without a win.
And Forster reckons it would be nice to keep his personal run going.
“It is going to be a tough game. It is not a particularly nice ground to go to and it is always either wet or cold,” he said.
“It is not the most hospitable of place. I won there with Brighton and Charlton last year and I think Brentford won there as well, so a repeat of that would be good.”
Brentford’s next three games: Jan 22 Oldham Athletic (a), 29 Yeovil Town (h), Feb 1 Dagenham & Redbridge (a).
