Dulwich Hamlet manager Gavin Rose, made a rare playing appearance,  but he could not prevent an early exit from the FA Trophy.

After the dramatic FA Cup penalty shoot out win over Godalming in mid-week, Hamlet were brought back down to earth with a 3-1 defeat at Romford – Vernon Francis getting the only goal.

They return to FA Cup this weekend in a second qualifying round tie at Arlesey Town.
