Wimbledon's Laura Robson - the newly crowned number one British female tennis player - has reached the semi-final of the Guangzhou International Women’s Open in China.
It took Robson three hours, three minutes to advance to beat number seven seed Shuai Peng of China 7-5 5-7 6-2.
In Friday’s semi-final, Laura will play the number three seed Sorana Cirstea of Romania on Centre Court (6pm).
In the world rankings issued by the Women Tennis Association, Robson has risen to world number 74.
The rise has seen her overtake compatriot Heather Watson to become the top ranked Briton in the world.
