Top running: Nikki Sturzaker in action at the start of the winter cross-country season
Herne Hill Harriers added to their multi-medal start to the winter in the Surrey County veteran’s cross-country championships with success in most of the age groups.
The winning women in the 35 to 40 age group were led home by Nikki Sturzaker in second with backing from Debbie Jackson in sixth and Rebecca Barrow in ninth.
The 40 plus team of Susan Glinska, Mandy Brown and Sarah Allen were fifth.
Steve Knight won bronze in the over-60s, John Garber won gold in the 70-year-old age group and Brian Shave won silver in the over-75s.
Andy Millbank, Tom Comlon and Waldy Pauzers ran in the 50 to 59 age group.
