Six days after completing the London Marathon, Hercules Wimbledon's Monika Crouse tackled an even more challenging event, an ultra marathon.

Crouse took on a 34.8-mile over wild and exposed coastal trails in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on Saturday - crossing the finish line as second woman finisher in five hours 53 minutes 39 seconds.

Elsewhere, Hercules Wimbledon secured a hat-trick of wins at an open meeting at Tooting Bec on bank holiday Monday.

Cassian Hyde took the 800m in a useful 1:59.60, while Darcey O’Shea won the U13 girls high jump and Lucy Hampson took the U13 girls shot.

Around 100 athletes took part in Hercules Wimbledon’s open graded meeting at Wimbledon Park last week.
