At the Downs League at Epsom on Sunday, 11 Croydon Harriers took part in the league’s second fixture.

Jordan O’Dongo was fourth in the U15 boys' race and now lies third overall, while training partner Jessica Moore was runner-up in the girls' race and is in second overall.

In the U13 girls race, Kyra Sethna-McIntosh was fourth in the girls' race, but is second in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, the seniors finished fifth in the men’s and women’s team race at the East Surrey League on Saturday at Wimbledon Common.

Ernie Hann led the Croydon challenge over the five-mile course finishing 12th in the 124-strong field in 31 minutes nine seconds.

Alan Burn was third M50 in 32:41, with Mark Lynch (33rd, 33:09) and James Moore (42nd, 34:37).

Dane Lawrence (72nd, 37:06), Andy Del Nevo (74th, 37:08), Oliver Hosken (89th, 38:32) and Jules Williams (115th, 44:37) were Croydon’s other competitors.

In the young athletes ranks, Croydon finished fourth in the team race.

Jordan O’Dongo was first home in 13th over the 2.5-mile course in 15:39.

Isaac Flanagan was 18th in 16:20, while Jessica Moore finished sixth in the girls' race in 17:36.

Imran Salim (33rd, 18:02), Megan Driver (35th, 18:07), Kyra Sethna-McIntosh (43rd, 19:21) and Leanne Moore (44th, 21:53) were the other Harriers in action.
