Two Collingwood members took part in the 13th Pathfinder Marathon at Conington in Cambridgeshire, named after the Second World War Pathfinder Bomber Squadrons which flew from airfields in the area.
It was a scenic off-road event starting in a cold and biting wind but gradually warming up.
Andy Stalley led the field for the first eight miles but slowed, finishing fifth in three hours 47 minutes.
Steve Cooney was 10th in 4:23.
Eight Collingwood runners took part in the weekend’s parkrun events.
