Twickenham Ladies claimed a 41-run victory over Guildford Ladies on Saturday after a fine all-round performance. An opening partnership of 45 between Karen Wilton and Randika Galhenage, followed by another fine batting performance by Charlotte Gallagher (44), set Twickenham on their way. By the time they were bowled out in the 34th over, the team had clocked up 133. Twickenham were determined to make Guildford work hard for the required runs, and claimed an early wicket with a very sharp run-out from Nithu Jayalath.
