Beddington and Old Whitgiftians could secure their Surrey Championship Division One status for another season this weekend - while Dulwich could be relegated.

Wins at the weekend for Beddington and Old Whit moved them 37 and 35 points clear of second-bottom Ashtead with only four matches - and 40 points - left to play for.

If Ashtead lose at Cheam on Saturday then both will be safe, while victories for Beddington against Camberley and OW at leaders Leatherhead will also guarantee safety.

Murtaza Hussain was Old Whits hero last weekend, scoring 52 not out and recording figures of 5-24 in a seven-wicket win over Farnham, while Beddington beat Dulwich by 12 runs.

Defeat left Dulwich bottom and 25 points behind third-bottom Farnham. If they lose to Normandy on Saturday and Farnham beat Valley End, then Dulwich will be down.

Southern Railway & Kenley will be relegated from Division Five if they don't beat SinjunGrammarians on Saturday having lost by 97 runs to Guildford last weekend.
