Twickenham Cricket Club have launched an extensive range of sponsorship packages for the first time as they bid to raise the funds needed to compete in the Middlesex County League Premier Division next season.
The Green-based club clinched promotion from Division One last season on the final day of the season thanks to a dramatic draw with Southgate.
Overseas star and leading wicket taker Jimmy Munting has returned to Australia, while South African all-rounder Justin Scriven has also called time on his stay in the UK.
The step-up will see Twickenham play the top level of 120 over club cricket in the county for the first-time in its long history, as they take on the cream of Middlesex cricket, including near neighbours Teddington and reigning champions Ealing.
Newly appointed cricket development officer and head coach Martyn Fryer, who will oversee winter nets which start this Sunday, said: “Twickenham Cricket Club is one of the most respected, progressive and community focused clubs in London.
“Our coaches regularly attend junior and senior schools in the local area and our summer coaching camps are extremely popular, while each weekend more than 200 people regularly watch cricket on the Green and enjoy the hospitality in the clubhouse.
“We have designed sponsorship packages to suite companies with varying budgets.”
Packages include, matchday sponsorship, shirt sponsorship, ground advertising as well as the branding of the club’s popular pavilion.
