Kingstonian brittle batting was again their downfall at Maori Oxshott.

Apart from Imran Khalid (33) and Nadim Malik's 56 only one other player reached double figures.

It meant Ks mustered just 140, a total that was always going to be difficult to defend.

To be fair to Matt Wise's side they had a go, and with the help of a season's best 5-68 from Zohaib Ahmad they had half a chance when the home side were reduced to 66-5.

But Farad Butt and James Shattock took their Maori to the brink of victory before Ks took another wicket to reduce the deficit to a four-wicket loss.
