Holloway: Dangerous Palace are not just about Wilfried Zaha (From Croydon Guardian)

Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway says his side is a dangerous proposition because the opposition never know where the goal threat will come from.

Speaking after the comfortable 3-0 Championship win over Derby County on Saturday, Holloway admitted the talk of the town, Wilfried Zaha, had had a quiet game.

However, Holloway revelled in the display of those who stepped up to fill the youngster's big shoes. 

"While you're worrying about Wilf and Yannick [Bolasie], what about Glenn Murray? Who picked him up from the corner for the goal? Before you know it, it's in," Holloways said.

"Nigel [Clough] is a very good manager. He knows the run we're on and he knows the players - he'll have had them watched - and I thought they did it as well as anyone else has. But someone else wriggled out the bag.

"That's the brilliance about this team. You don't know where it's going to come from, Kagisho [Dikgacoi] is a silent assassin who can break forward from nowhere."

But, with his defence having conceded just once in four games, Holloway was not just full of praise for his forward line.

He said: "To me, the cement of it all is the back two and Mile [Jedinak] in front of them, that allows me to add a bit of forward thinking and hopefully they'll enjoy that.

"I can't praise the people, from top to bottom, highly enough for their professionalism at this place. It is absolutely superb."
