Crystal Palace supporters have organised a protest to be held outside Selhurst Park this afternoon (3pm).
Fans are gathering to raise the profile of the club's current plight to highlight what the club means to its fans.
A spokesman said: "A few hundred are expected to attend, with over 500 having confirmed their attendance so far through various social networking sites."
Palace are currently in administration, having only narrowly remained in the Championship last season following a 10-point deduction.
Star player Darren Ambrose is this week expected to join Queens Park Rangers in a £750,000 deal.
Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle is desperate for a deal to be struck quickly so that the club can afford to pay its remaining players next month.
