Palace after repeat performance

Dougie Freedman wants his Crystal Palace side to replicate their performance from last weekend when they go to West Ham United tomorrow.

The Eagles thrashed Watford 4-0 last Saturday - their first win of the calendar year but their fourth without defeat since their heartbreaking Carling Cup semi-final exit to Cardiff City last month.

But Freedman insists he was never kept awake by the lack of victories and hopes his side can shock leaders West Ham in the lunchtime kick-off.

“I never really concern myself with results, they take care of themselves,” he added.

“We have bounced back incredibly since Cardiff and are unbeaten since then with some fantastic performances.

“I hope on Saturday we can perform to the same standard we have been.

“If we do, we will come close against a very well organised team who I do believe will be champions and their manager Sam Allardyce will lift the trophy.

“A draw would be a great result but is it a game we are going there to win and, hopefully, repeat the performance and result from Saturday.”
