Manchester City teenager Joan Roman is to spend the next 10 days training with Crystal Palace.
The 18-year-old, signed by City in 2009, has joined up with the Eagles in order to gain experience away from the Etihad Stadium.
Although Palace manager Dougie Freedman played down the chance of loaning him this season, he did confirm they might consider him for the next campaign.
"Joan Roman is coming down for 10 days just to see," he said.
"It is good for him to experience football outside of Manchester City and at the same time we can have a look at him as a possible loan for next season and he can have a look at us.
"It won't happen for this season - we are pretty much done for loans unless we get an injury."
Dean Moxey has returned to training for Palace but is still a doubt for this Saturday after being hit by illness following his long recovery from an ankle injury.
Jonathan Williams, who suffered with the same bug, is due to start training again on Thursday while Nathaniel Clyne's knee problem will keep him out of Saturday's home match against Peterborough.
