Cheerio old boy: Palace midfielder David Wright has joined Colchester United SP59575
Crystal Palace have signed Jazz Richards from Swansea City on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old full back has made four appearances for the Michael Laudrup this season, and 36 appearances for the Swans since turning pro in 2009.
A Welsh international, Jazz won his first cap in the 2-0 friendly defeat to Mexico last May.
Upon joining, Richards told Palace Player: "Swansea were happy to let me go out on loan and when I spoke to the gaffer here, it was a great opportunity for me.
"It's a brilliant club to be coming into, sitting in the top six of the Championship.
"As a player you want to be fighting for a place in the Premier League and hopefully I can play my part in the club getting there."
Meanwhile, David Wright has left Selhurst Park and joined Colchester United after his contract was ended by mutual consent.
