After experiencing the roar of Champions League crowds at Celtic Park, Joe Ledley has found a new home in south London.
It is just over a year since the Welsh international made a deadline day dash from Celtic to join up with Tony Pulis' struggling Crystal Palace side.
In that time he has played under three managers, and helped Palace pull off one of the great Premier League survival acts.
Palace were rock bottom of the league, with 17 points from 21 games, when Ledley arrived.
He played in 14 of the Eagles remaining 17 games, as they went on to accumulate 45 points, and earn a record high 11th place Premier League finish.
But does the 28-year-old regret swapping Champions League clashes with Barcelona for relegation scraps in the Premier League? Not a chance.
“I think when I signed, I believed in the squad and that we would stay up,” said Ledley, speaking at the launch of MyPalaceNews.com “I have the same feeling here as I had at Celtic. They've welcomed me from day one and always supported me so I’ll always remember that.”

Ledley departed Celtic with three Scottish Premier League titles and a Scottish Cup to his name, but has enjoyed the greater competitiveness of the Premier League.
“Coming to Palace was the right decision. I’m playing in the Premier League –the best division in the world – and we have got a fantastic team and hopefully we can keep building,” said Ledley.
“Obviously we were very much down there when I joined but with the manager, players and the belief we had, I knew we would stay up.”

With the positivity surrounding Palace’s great escape it was a shock when Pulis called time on his tenure.
Since then Neil Warnock has had a four-month spell at the club, and now Alan Pardew is charged with cementing Palace’s place in England’s top tier. Ledley is confident of the former Palace player’s ability as a manager, and believes that the club can become a force in the Premier League.
He said: “The second year is always harder, but hopefully if we stay up we can keep improving and be like Stoke and remain in the Premier League for many years.
“That is what the fans want, and hopefully, one year we will make it into Europe.”
