Wilfried Zaha's second Premier League goal of the season seemed to hurt the winger more than it hurt QPR, but he had the last laugh with all three points.

There were laughs in the Crystal Palace dressing room too at half-time with the Eagles 3-0 up on their London rivals and cruising to a first home win in five attempts - the game would end 3-1.

Zaha collided with the upright in opening the scoring over Rangers, and was eventually replaced early in the second half.

Palace 3-1 QPR: Bolasie's in the dog house, but the Eagles soar

However, by then the damage had been done by Zaha, but he knows he needs to score more goals.

He said: "People say Yannick [Bolasie] and I are flair players, but if you're not scoring goals then it doesn't really matter.

"I just made sure I was in the box and the post literally split me open."

Boss Alan Pardew said: "We had a giggle at half-time because I told Wilf he was meant to get inside the post, not in the post."

Palace, 12th in the Premier League table, go to Stoke City, in eighth this weekend.
