Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has revealed the secret behind the explosive success of the terrific trio.

Bolaise, Glenn Murray and Wilfried Zaha has fired the Eagles to Premier League safety, hitting nine goals between.

Murray, deemed surplus to requirements by Neil Warnock, has benefitted most bagging five goals under Alan Pardew’s new reign.

Bolasie, named Neteller player of the month for March, said: “We just clicked from the first day I played with Glenn and Wilf.

“That game at Selhurst against Manchester City, we set up Glenn in the first 30 seconds. Then Wilf set him up and we won 2-1.

“There was just a good understanding from then. We went on a really good winning run throughout March.

“The team were really confident and the three of us knew there was a good connection there. We know we’ve got players behind us that can help make us really effective.”

Although the past two games have ended up in defeat, Bolasie knows that a change in training exercises will reap dividends once again.

He added: “We practice a lot on doing what we would do in a match in training.

“We are ready in game situations, so in a match it just feels normal. If you’re not doing it in training it’s not just going to come on a Saturday and we’ve had a chance to practice a lot.”
