Alan Pardew reckons Crystal Palace have grabbed back the momentum after Sunday’s 2-1 win at Liverpool.

Goals from Yannick Bolasie and Scott Dann sealed the Eagles’ first win in the Premier League in four games, and lifted them to eighth in the table.

Pardew remains convinced that Palace deserved more than a point from Manchester United’s visit to Selhurst Park two weekends ago.

And he was equally convinced the Eagles deserved all three points at Anfield.

He said: “We only had one 15-minute period where the game go away from us.

Crystal Palace win over Liverpool was a team effort says Dann

“But we had ambition and some great performances, it is difficult to single anyone out.

“We had outstanding pace on the attack, we had great defensive discipline, and it’s a great and really important victory for us which gives momentum back to us.”

He added: “We went toe-to-toe against Manchester United and got a draw, we went toe-toe toe with Liverpool and got the win.

“We have to remember we can do it and trust ourselves.”

Palace are not in action again until November 21 when struggling Sunderland are the visitors to south-east London.
