Sunderland are plotting a £2.5m transfer bid for Crystal Palace defender Martin Kelly, according to reports.
The Black Cats are hoping to bolster their squad this summer after a fine relegation escape last season.
West Ham forward Diafra Sakho has already reportedly been approached by the club, but Sam Allardyce is also interested in ex-England international Kelly.
According to the Sun, a £2.5m offer is being considered for Kelly, who only made 17 appearances for the Eagles last term.
The Whiston-born defender has played 44 league games for Palace since signing from Liverpool in the summer of 2014.
