Crystal Palace have tabled an offer for Palermo playmaker Franco Vazquez, reports say.
The 27-year-old is being tracked by several clubs this summer and West Brom were thought to be favourites to secure his signature.
However, the Baggies’ Premier League rivals Palace are also showing “strong interest” in Vazquez, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

It is claimed the Eagles have made an opening bid for the Italy international, who made 36 Serie A appearances last season.
But the report suggests the fee was below Palermo's valuation for the attacking midfielder.
Crystal Palace have enjoyed a productive start to the summer window by bringing Andros Townsend, Steve Mandanda and most recently James Tomkins to Selhurst Park.
The south London club have also been linked with Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar, whose agent is reportedly heading to England for talks with top-flight clubs.
