Crystal Palace have signed Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan.
Loftus-Cheek, 21, becomes Frank de Boer’s first signing as Eagles boss.
The England Under-21 international found first-team chances hard to come by at Chelsea last season - and will now get a chance to shine at Selhurst Park.
He said: “I had the option of coming to Palace and I thought that it would be great for me.

“I live not too far away, I was born in Lewisham and Palace is a good club so I thought it’s a good chance to play here and be a part of the team.
“They have a very strong team and I’d like to be a part of that this season.”
Loftus-Cheek has progressed through the ranks at Chelsea, winning two FA Youth Cups, an U21s Premier League title and the UEFA Youth League.
And he has 22 Premier League appearances to his name, scoring once.
